And on this post, I will have a giveaway of my stories from Alfie Dog Fiction. One of the short stories, A Granted Wish, has the characters end up on the beach in a dream, and it has something to do with my answer for this blog hop theme, ‘My Best Summer Memory.’

I don't have Summer and any of those four seasons in my country, but when it's dry season and the weather is hot, the sky is clear, and usually it's a holiday season, one of the best things to do is going to the beach, and my country has a lot of beaches.

I used to live in this small town near the beach and my family and I practically went there every week or anytime we felt like it. The white-sandy beach was clean and pristine and although many people went there, we still could enjoy ourselves for it was quite long. We didn't do a lot of things, just lying around, playing with the sands and in the water. We just had with us some canned juice drinks and a bit of snacks. Sometimes we lay down until we fell asleep. :)

What about you?

  4. I grew up on a river and it was just 20 minutes from the bay by boat. I love the water and try to get near it any time I can.

  6. I live near the beach but I burn easy so while I go a lot I tend to stay covered up and under an umbrella reading while my friends enjoy the surf.

  8. If I fall asleep on a beach, it's while under an umbrella! ;) But I do enjoy visiting the tide pools to see what I can find.
